English Learner Advisory Committee
The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a very important parent committee. The ELAC advises on programs and services for EL students and on strategies to engage parents in support of their child’s education. The ELAC consists of parents or legal guardians, not employed by LAUSD, of EL students or Reclassified Fluent English Proficient (RFEP) students who have reclassified within the last two years and other interested stakeholders.
El asesor Comité inglés (ELAC) es un Comité de padres muy importante. El ELAC informa sobre programas y servicios para aprendices de Ingles y estrategias para los padres para el apoyo en la educación de sus hijos. El ELAC consiste en los padres o tutores legales, no empleados del Distrito, aprendices de Ingles, o estudiantes reclasificados con fluidez Inglés competente (RFEP) que han reclasificado dentro de los últimos dos años y otros interesados los interesados.
