Trish Swiderski is a California native who has a passion for working with children, especially those with special needs. She received a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and her Multiple Subjects teaching credential at San Diego State University. She then moved back to her hometown of Westchester to attend Loyola Marymount for a credential in Learning Disabilities and a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology. While teaching for LAUSD, Ms. Swiderski continued her education by earning a credential in Severe Disabilities and a credential in Language Development .
Ms. Swiderski has happily spent the last 30 years teaching special Education in Los Angeles, and has been awarded Outstanding Teacher of the Year by the Special Education Commission and Outstanding Educator by the National Parent/Teacher Association. She brings enthusiasm and creativity to her classes and develops strong relationships with students and parents.
