Welcome Grand View West!

Formerly a part of the James J. McBride Center Special Education Center, Grand View West is a new addition to our school, with special education instructional support teams focused on ensuring high-quality teaching and learning in every classroom. From kindergarten to fifth grade, the instructional support teams are equipped with tools and strategies for learning in the 21st Century.

Our instructional support teams provide support and services to help all students with special needs succeed in school and transition to a productive life with meaningful experiences in college and/or careers.

Our classrooms integrate with Grand View Learning Academy and Spanish Immersion students as part of an extended curriculum in P.S. ARTS, District Arts, Adapted Physical Education and the Garden School Foundation's Seed to Table program, creating valuable learning experiences and life skills for all who participate.

The LA Unified Department of Special Education provides resources related to families, instruction, policies and procedures.

We invite all families to get to know us and our program!
